Heat Alert--Water Now!

Heat wave can be deadly for trees, shrubs and lawns.   Young plantings or newly seeded/sodded lawns are especially vulnerable.  During an extended heat wave, it's urgent to

water.  

Here's how to do it: The best time to water is in the morning. For trees and shrubs, let water trickle out slowly on each plant for about 20 minutes at least twice a week.
