Arborvitae often sustain damage under heavy ice or snow. As shown by the damage sustained last February at Sisters of the Blessed Sacrament in Bensalem, PA, trunks split apart, tops lean over precariously and trees uproot. Erik Rodgers, Giroud Representative and ISA Certified Arborist, explains the problem and how to repair the damage.
