Heat Alert--Water Now!

Wednesday, July 17, 2013

Heat wave can be deadly for trees, shrubs and lawns.   Young plantings or newly seeded/sodded lawns are especially vulnerable.  During an extended heat wave, it's urgent to
water.

Here's how to do it: The best time to water is in the morning. For trees and shrubs, let water trickle out slowly on each plant for about 20 minutes at least twice a week. For lawns, soak the newly planted area for at least 30 minutes, three times a week. Questions? Give us a call at 215-682-7704.
